It is located a few blocks from the University of Kansas stadium and is walking distance to the downtown area with many restaurants and shops.
The apartments share a large front porch, a patio (fenced on the side of the house), a high efficiency furnace, and 1 off street parking space. The electric for each apartment is separately metered. The gas & water bill for the house is split and billed to each apartment each month.
This 2 bedroom apartment is on the 3rd floor. You enter the main door and then walk up one flight to the 2nd floor where you enter the apartment’s private staircase. (There is a tight turn between the first and second floor, so a full size box springs will fit, but a queen size won’t. Full size couches won’t fit, but some love seats and futon couches will.)
The entire apartment has wood floors except the stair case, in the kitchen and in the bathroom. At the top of the stairs is the kitchen with light oak cabinets, stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher.
To the left and to the right of the stairs are large rooms and are mirror images of each other. Each has a large double closet with sliding mirror doors, a ceiling fan, and a window air conditioner. Either one can be used as a living room or a bedroom.
If you make a U turn at the top of the stairs, you come to a smaller room with a long walk in closet and has been used as a bedroom, living room, dining room or office. The bathroom is off of the kitchen and has a stall shower and a built in vanity with a lighted mirror.
